Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026-09-28. These terms apply to the OpsForce beta. Please read them — they are short and written in plain English.

Agreement

Who these terms are between

OpsForce is operated by Codality (“Codality”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using OpsForce you agree to these terms. If you use OpsForce on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for it, and “you” includes that company. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

Beta

Beta and preview status

OpsForce is a beta product. Features may change, be limited, or be removed without notice, and the service may be unavailable or contain bugs. There is no service-level agreement (SLA) and no guaranteed uptime, support response time, or data durability during the beta. Keep your own backups of anything important — in particular, keep your Salesforce metadata in source control.

Beta access may be free or discounted. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you the price before you are charged, and you can choose not to continue.

Your obligations

Acceptable use

You agree that you will:

  • Only connect Salesforce orgs and git repositories that you are authorized to access, and only use them in ways your organization permits.
  • Keep your account secure and not share your sign-in with anyone else.
  • Comply with applicable laws, including data-protection laws that apply to any personal data held in the orgs you connect.
  • Not attempt to access other customers’ data, probe or break our security, or disrupt the service.
  • Not reverse engineer the service, resell it, or use it to build a competing product.
  • Not use OpsForce to store or transmit malware or unlawful content.

We may suspend access that we reasonably believe breaks these rules.

Responsibility

Your Salesforce deployments

OpsForce acts on your instructions. You are responsible for reviewing and approving every deployment, seeding run, restore, and git write you trigger, and for their effect on your orgs and repositories. We strongly recommend running a validate-only deploy and testing in a sandbox before deploying to production. Codality is not responsible for changes made to your systems at your direction.

Ownership

Intellectual property

You keep all rights to your data, metadata, and code. You give us permission to process it only as needed to provide and support the service for you. We keep all rights to OpsForce itself, including its software, design, and documentation.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve OpsForce without any obligation to you.

Legal

No warranty and limitation of liability

OpsForce is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that comparison or deployment results will be complete or accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Codality will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of OpsForce. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for OpsForce in the 12 months before the claim or USD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

Ending

Termination

You can stop using OpsForce at any time; disconnect your orgs and repositories and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end your access, or end the beta, at any time — where practical we will give you notice so you can export your data. When access ends, we delete your team data as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections on intellectual property, warranty, and liability survive termination.

Legal

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION — to be confirmed], without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction.

We may update these terms as OpsForce evolves. For material changes we will update the effective date and notify account holders before the change takes effect. Continuing to use OpsForce after that means you accept the updated terms.
